Dale H. Metzger II (aka Skip), 68, of Missouri City, Texas passed away on June 17, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 13, 1949, the only son of Shirley and Dale Metzger. He loved music, was a talented musician and drummer, and played in multiple bands throughout his life. Dale H. Metzger II (aka Skip), 68, of Missouri City, Texas passed away on June 17, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 13, 1949, the only son of Shirley and Dale Metzger. He loved music, was a talented musician and drummer, and played in multiple bands throughout his life. He spent years working in healthcare as an RN, whose career was dedicated to oncology nursing and hospice. He was an avid marksman, who won many local and national titles in his sport. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a well-respected friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pat, his daughter Adrianne and his grandson, Braylon, who were the joys of his life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 12:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek located at 15015 SW Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas; with funeral services officiated by Chaplain Glenda McDonald beginning at 2:00 P.M.
